I have broken my kitchen mixer tap and need to replace it. I had a quick look at the underneath of it last night and I’m a little stuck how to actually get it off the sink.
As it is a mixer tap it has the cold and hot feeds straight into

Can I use a kitchen mixer tap in my bathroom?

I know I shouldn't do it the other way round, but is there any reason why I can't use a kitchen mixer tap over a bathroom basin? The range of taps available for kitchens is very much wider and I can't find enough nice ones that are specified for basin
well if the shoe fits .... why not the water is the same and its your house do what you want and no one can say anything about it

I get intermittent hot water with my bath mixer tap but perfect hot water from kitchen & bath sink mixer taps. It all runs from a combi-boiler and until recently all was ok, now there hardly a need to use the cold tap in the bath as the hot tap tends
Newer faucets for the bath have an anti scald thermostat built in to them. This mixes in cold water if the hot water is too hot to prevent that scalding. It sounds to me like yours is sticking open.
